Muscat: The Tropical system Asna is 220 km from the center to the coasts of the Sultanate of Oman (Ras al Hadd) and has declined into a deep depression.

The estimated wind speed around the center is between 28 and 33 knots, with the nearest rain-bearing cloud mass being about 120 km away from Oman's coast.

It is expected to continue moving west and southwest with gradual dissipation away from the South al Sharqiyah coasts (Arabian Sea).

It will be downgraded to a tropical depression in the next 12 hours.

The wave continues to be alerted, ranging in height from 3 to 5 meters, with sea water extending over low-lying coastal areas and creeks during today and tomorrow.
