Salalah: The Omani Journalists Association held a press conference at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Dhofar branch to announce the launch of the Omani Journalistic Forum, set to take place in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate, from September 2 to 5, 2024.
This inaugural event will welcome over 200 journalists and media professionals from 23 countries, offering them the opportunity to experience firsthand the economic, tourism, and cultural landmarks that define the Sultanate of Oman. Participants will also gain insights into the nation's remarkable achievements across a range of sectors.
The board of the Omani Journalists Association underscored the significance of this forum as the first in a series of annual gatherings. The vision is to establish this forum as a prestigious media event, positioning Oman alongside other prominent Gulf and Arab journalistic forums.
