Muscat --- The Tourism Hum at the Muttrah Waterfront in Muscat was set up to provide information and guide visitors to the most prominent heritage sites and tourist destinations in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Tourism Hub also offers information on tourism companies and hotels, entertainment activities, and events for the benefit of visitors.
The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism stated that the number of visitors to the Tourism Hub since its opening on January 1, 2024, until mid-August, was more than 6,000.
The center received multiple inquiries from visitors, focusing on tourist sites and services in Muscat Governorate, traditional markets, transportation and communication directions, and food recommendations, in addition to helping them book trips or tours and cruises in the capital, Muscat, or nearby areas.
Hana bint Salem al Bahrani, supervisor of the Tourism Hub in Muttrah, said that the center provides a variety of tourism materials such as brochures, leaflets, guide cards, and maps, in addition to information related to museums, companies providing tourism services, and hotels.
