SALALAH, August 24: Since the start of the 2024 Khareef Season, Dhofar Municipality has been rigorously implementing the second edition of its mobile laboratory initiative, designed to ensure food safety across the governorate.
The deployment of the mobile lab has marked the Municipality's efforts to ensure that citizens, residents, and the influx of visitors receive safe and healthy food.
The mobile laboratory, has proved to be instrumental in reaching a wide array of locations to conduct essential inspections. This year's efforts have expanded significantly, covering a diverse range of food establishments, including cafes serving coffee, tea, and similar beverages. These inspections aim to guarantee that all consumables meet the stringent safety standards set by the municipality.
The initiative is a continuation of Dhofar Municipality's commitment to public health, bolstered by the addition of cutting-edge technologies and equipment to the mobile laboratory.
