Getting There: Located in the Al Hamra region in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, about 200 kilometres from Muscat and 36 kilometres from Al Hamra. The mountain is easily accessible by ordinary vehicles.

Village of Sab

Khor Ruri


Why Go: This archaeological site highlights Oman’s historical aspect and is located just a few minutes walk from the ruins of Sumhuram. This desert area in Dhofar is a beautiful camping option. The Khawr (creek) is fed by freshwater from Wadi Darbat, making it easy to use the water for cooking purposes.

Wadi Bih, Musandam

Wadi MIBAM
