Muscat: 14,000 pilgrims, including 250 Arab residents, and 250 non-Arab residents, performed Hajj this year from the Sultante of Oman, the Oman Hajj Mission revealed at a press conference on Wednesday.
The youth comprised the largest group of Omani pilgrims (83.2 percent), compared to 16.8 percent of the pilgrims who were over 60 years old.
Sultan bin Said al Hinai, Head of the Oman Hajj Mission, said, "We had a successful Hajj season this year and were able to complete the procedures for the pilgrims of the Sultanate of Oman to travel to the holy sites."
