Muscat: In light of the current security situation in the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Oman’s Foreign Ministry has issued a travel advisory urging Omani citizens to refrain from visiting the country.


In a statement released today, the ministry highlighted that the prevailing security conditions in Bangladesh pose significant risks to the safety of Omani nationals, urging the postponement of any travel plans to the country until further notice.


The ministry also advised Omani citizens currently in Bangladesh to contact the Omani embassy in Dhaka in case of emergencies using the following numbers: +880 18 1124 1175 and +880 16 0118 8566.


The Ministry underscored the importance of staying informed about the latest developments and adhering to the guidance issued to ensure the safety and well-being of Omani nationals abroad.
