MANAH: The second edition of the Damak Wasil campaign began at the Oman Across Ages Museum, on Monday. Coinciding with the Khareef Dhofar season, the campaign aims to position the museum as a primary stop-over for visitors heading to Dhofar Governorate as well as enhance the museum’s presence on the map of local and international tourist destinations during this season.
The campaign organisers are posting on the museum’s social media accounts in a bid to promote the museum and increase awareness about its historical and cultural significance as well as provide visitors with knowledge about the history of the Sultanate of Oman, its modern achievements and natural and geographical diversity in an interactive manner using the latest technologies in museum display.
The campaign includes various marketing methods in various locations inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman to ensure that the message of the campaign reaches as many audiences as possible. The first edition of Damak Wasil campaign held in August last year achieved remarkable success with visitors number to the museum exceeding 77,000 in addition to 15 million views on the museum’s social media accounts. — ONA
