In Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, the ‘My summer is determination and values’ programme involves 200 children participating in diverse training workshops across various centers, including the Fatima bint al Khattab Summer Center in Al Hamra and the Safiah Umm al Mu'minin Summer Center in Adam. Activities range from recycling art to photography and design using Canva, showcasing the programme's creativity and variety. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Education's mission to extend educational efforts beyond regular school hours.


‘Nutty Scientists’ Nizwa


An Omani company specialising in educational and entertainment services, Nutty Scientists Nizwa offers workshops that often fill up quickly due to limited seats, ensuring focused attention on each child. Director Fatima al Wardi highlighted the high turnout, with over 170 children participating in monthly activities at the center and even more in external events. The center's approach shifts from traditional memorization to hands-on scientific experimentation, enhancing children's understanding of natural phenomena.

Sports training centres in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate


The Department of Culture, Sports, and Youth in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate organises various sports activities as part of the Summer Sports Programme 2024. Eman bint Said bin Ahmed al Daihani from the programme's media committee reported participation statistics: 124 boys and 40 girls in swimming, 27 in equestrian training, and multiple football training centers with participants ranging from 14 to 20 children. Additionally, the girls' physical fitness training center at Al Hamra Club saw 50 participants.
