A survey measuring the satisfaction levels of citizens and residents in the capital region showed amazing results, reflecting the local authorities' commitment to ensuring quality services on a perpetual basis.
The survey, conducted by the Office of the Governor of Muscat, was based on the Muscat Governorate's keenness to improve its services to achieve customer and beneficiary satisfaction. The results show that as many as 63 per cent of people living in the capital region are satisfied with the implementation of various development projects in the governorate.
Recently implemented, the survey aimed to measure the level of community members' satisfaction with the services provided, evaluate the quality of various services, and assess the need for improvements to achieve the aspirations and ambitions of citizens and residents.
The survey also measured the satisfaction of beneficiaries of various essential services currently provided in the governorate. It was divided into five wide categories: removal of illegal possessions of state properties, implementation of various development projects, electronic services provided by the government as part of Oman Vision 2040, municipal permit services, and various afforestation efforts in Muscat Governorate to tackle climate change and global warming.
According to the survey results, the satisfaction rate of beneficiaries with the various services has reached encouraging percentages. "These results reflect the commitment of Muscat Governorate and its official representatives in improving and developing both individual and societal services provided in the governorate. It also confirms the importance of continuing to implement periodic surveys to measure the opinions of citizens and residents, and to benefit from their opinions in guiding efforts to achieve the highest levels of quality and satisfaction in the governorate's services," a spokesperson from the Office of the Governor said.
