The Foundation also aims to support artists, cultural promoters, and cultural institutions through grants, capacity building, publications, and networking; to publish and promote creative works classified outside the commercial mainstream, regionally and globally; and to improve the conditions that allow the production of these works through research and work on cultural policies.
The Foundation bases its work on the belief in the essential role that culture plays in the development of civil society, the importance of making culture available to everyone, and the right of artists to express themselves freely.
