Salahah: Dhofar Governorate is set to welcome the Khareef season with the activation of Specialized Outpatients Clinics Complex (A) at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah.

This initiative by the Ministry of Health's Directorate General of Health Services aims to cater to the increased demand for medical services during this time.

The complex will be operational from July 7 to August 31, 2024, offering daily care for non-critical cases.

Patients can access treatment from 3:00 pm until 7:00 am throughout the week.

This extended schedule ensures wider availability of the provided services compared to standard clinic hours.

Critical cases and referrals from other healthcare institutions will continue to be handled by the dedicated emergency departments at Sultan Qaboos Hospital.

It's important to note that services at the Awqad and Salalah West centres will be limited during this period.

These centres will operate with two daily shifts, running from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm.

The activation of Specialized Clinics Complex (A) demonstrates the Ministry of Health's commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare for residents and visitors alike during the Dhofar Khareef season. This initiative ensures timely and accessible medical attention for non-emergency situations, allowing residents and tourists to enjoy the festivities with peace of mind.
