Marsh McLennan names Omani CEO

MUSCAT: Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), the world’s leading professional services firm in the areas of risk, strategy and people, has announced the appointment of Mohammed al Hinai as the new Chief Executive Officer of its operations in the Sultanate of Oman. Al Hinai will continue to be based in Muscat and report to Ayman el Hout, Chief Executive Officer, Marsh McLennan, UAE, Qatar, Oman and Egypt regions.


In this role, al Hinai will be responsible for leading Marsh McLennan’s continued growth and innovation, supporting the evolving needs of clients in Oman, as well as Marsh McLennan’s ongoing investment in local talent. Marsh McLennan’s presence in Oman spans four decades, with its Marsh business serving as Oman's leading insurance broker and risk advisor.


El Hout, CEO of Marsh McLennan’s, UAE, Qatar, Oman and Egypt region, said: “Mohammed brings more than 19 years of extensive experience in senior management positions.
