SALALAH: Dhofar Governorate is set to host the Charitable and Volunteer Teams Forum 2024 under the theme, "Charitable and Voluntary Work: Sustainable Development Goals," which will take place at the Sultan Qaboos Cultural and Entertainment Complex today (Wednesday).
The forum aims to highlight the vital role of charitable and volunteer work in achieving sustainable development goals and to enhance cooperation between various charitable and volunteer organisations in the governorate.
The event will include a range of activities and events designed to raise awareness about the importance of volunteer work and its role in building a more cohesive and sustainable society.
The Social Development Committee in the Wilayat of Salalah is organising this forum with the participation and support of several sponsors, including Nama Services, OCTAL, Atyab, STRABAG, Al Rawas Holding LLC, and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The forum is expected to attract numerous participants from various charitable and volunteer teams, as well as experts and specialists in the field of charitable and volunteer work, contributing to the exchange of experiences and ideas and enhancing the network of relationships between the concerned parties.
