Coming back to the question about life in Oman, as a person who stayed in the Sultanate for two and a half decades, my own experience testifies that the quality of life in the country is excellent. The social scene is vibrant, allows a lot of freedom to foreigners, and promotes tolerance of other religions. Particularly motivating in Oman is how much the citizens love their ruler. They genuinely love him.
Omanis are known for having the most hospitable culture in the Gulf countries. They share their food, their culture, whatever—all without expecting anything back. I was overwhelmed by the kindness of people. Even after my exit, I still enjoy it.
