MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, and Hanke Bruins Slot, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, discussed over phone on Monday the historical relations and existing cooperation between the two friendly countries.
They stressed the convergence of views on the necessity of immediately ending the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip and halting escalation through adopting the two-state solution being the only solution to achieve peace.
Sayyid Badr underscored the significance of respecting international law and holding Israel accountable for its immense violations including siege, genocide and starving the people of Gaza, pointing to the importance and inevitability of recognizing the Palestinian state in order to achieve justice and alleviate human suffering. — ONA
