A group of “Al Din for Culture and Art” members participate in Sibiu International Performing Arts Market within Sibiu International Theatre Festival which will be held from 24th to 30th of June under the slogan of this year “Friendship”, as its goal to promote its activities around the world and transfer the success of Al Din theatre festival.
The main aim of this participation is to introduce “Al Din Theatre Festival” and its success outside Oman. The presentation will include the Al Din’s achievements since its establishment and the its vision which they try to achieve in the coming years. Also, introducing the role of Omani Theatre in promoting the tourism in Oman and gain a larger number of visitors via theatre performances which presented by Al Din both inside and outside Oman, or within “Al Din theatre festival” which gather theatre groups from around the world in one place under the slogan “Gathering the world in Oman”.
To be mentioned, Sibiu International Performing Arts Market is a chance for artists, actors, and interested people to gather and promote their art projects and make partnerships. It includes 830 events this year and around 5000 artists will participate on it from around 82 countries.
Salim Al Rawahi, Mahmoud Al Makhroomi, and Walid Al Hadrami – Al Din Board members- will participate in performing arts market which is a platform for dialogue for youth artists, theatre art groups, cultural networks from around the world. The festival main committee choose the world's biggest art festivals to participate in this activity.
About their participation, Walid Al Hadrami - Head of investment promotion in Al Din- said: “We consider this participation as an important event to be added for Al Din achievements history. Sibiu International Theatre Festival is the third biggest theatre festival in Europe and it’s our pleasure to participate because we gain big benefits from it and we hope that we present Oman culture and theatre in an honorable way”.
