MUSCAT: The Omani national beach handball team suffered to defeat in its first match in the second round of the 11th World Beach Handball Championship for Men and Women in Pingtan, China, against the Brazilian team by a score of 2-0.
The match started at a fast pace, with the Brazilian team opening the scoring in the first minute with a powerful shot that the Omani goalkeeper was unable to stop. After the first goal, the Omani players tried to get back into the match with several consecutive attacks, but luck was not on their side as they were unable to convert these attacks into goals.
