At the 33rd edition of the COMEX, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning unveiled a comprehensive data dashboard designed to monitor the implementation of its urban strategy. This innovative tool, showcased in the Ministry’s pavilion, aims to enhance the tracking and management of urban development projects across various levels.

The dashboard serves as a central platform that integrates and analyzes data from multiple sources, providing a detailed overview of projects at the national, regional, structural, and detailed levels. By offering accurate and up-to-date information, it assists decision-makers in making informed choices about urban development initiatives.

A key feature of the dashboard is its capacity to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data, which is crucial for effective decision-making and project management. It includes data on 3,000 projects undertaken by 85 entities from both the government and private sectors. These projects encompass national and regional initiatives, structural projects like the Greater Muscat project, and future city developments such as Sultan Haitham City.

Moreover, the dashboard enables relevant parties to input and update project data continuously. It also features an interactive geographic map that links project data to specific locations, further enhancing the tool's utility for urban planning and management.

With this dashboard, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning aims to provide a comprehensive, reliable, and interactive resource that supports effective oversight and strategic planning for urban development projects.
