MUSCAT, MAY 28
Omani proptech company ‘Doorly’ utilises technology to provide potential buyers with property solutions. Through an online chatbot launched earlier this year, the company acts as a tech broker between buyers and sellers, providing potential buyers with multiple offers.
Speaking to the Observer during COMEX 2024, CEO of Doorly, Bader al Rahbi, shared the following: “[Doorly is] a service that connects real estate agents with clients through real estate requests, and plays a role of a technical intermediary that takes real estate requests from clients through a chatbot, through WhatsApp.”
According to Al Rahbi, clients can provide detailed property requests, and receive offers within less than 24 hours.
So why would a person resort to Doorly instead of other platforms to look for property? According to the CEO, the service saves clients time and provides them with multiple options that are tailored for their needs.
"It is easy for anyone to search for a property through platforms. But imagine you didn't find one. You could do it the traditional way: call a friend, contact a real estate agent, and look for a property with these specifications. Don't tire yourself. With us, simply contact us, and we will take the request from you and provide multiple offers,’’ he explained.
“Our service allows you to receive multiple offers from multiple agents within the same real estate companies, and this process works while maintaining the client's privacy," he added.
Doorly is also keen on protecting client privacy. “Your number and name will not be known unless you are interested in a specific property, then it connects you with the property you are interested in buying or renting.” The company is currently developing an application that utilizes data analysis. According to the CEO, this application will provide clients with offers in less than two hours, significantly reducing the wait time.
Established in 2021, the company is one of the recipients of funding support from Oman Technology Fund, launched by the ITCHA group.
