His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from Gen Abdul Fattah Al Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in the Republic of Sudan. The message deals with relations between Oman and Sudan. It was handed over to Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, when he received in Muscat on Tuesday Envoy of the Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Hussein Awad, Sudanese acting Minister of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations and means of promoting them in various areas to serve the joint interests. They also touched on the developments in Sudan and stressed the importance of the efforts made to make dialogue and wisdom prevail for the supreme interests of the Sudanese people and realising their aspirations of security, stability and development.
