Muscat: The Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (ASDS) held its annual meeting for this year under the auspices of HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, on Wednesday.
HH Sayyid Shihab commended the national roles undertaken by the Academy and the efforts made by the officials in charge of the Academy to achieve the desired goals. He called on the Academy’s affiliates and the participants of the 37th staff and command course and the 11th national defence course to leverage the academic system and to continue improving the plans, policies and systems in order to keep pace with the academic changes and developments.
A visual presentation was staged that highlighted the academy’s departments, programmes for qualifying the participants and the most important activities and events carried out as part of the Academy’s annual plans. — ONA
