Muscat: As part of the two-day state visit to the State of Kuwait, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik visited the al Salam Palace Museum in the capital of Kuwait.
The al Salam Palace Museum is a remarkable landmark built in the late 1950s as a presidential Palace and then transferred into a state guesthouse in the early 1960s. In 1990 it faced immense destruction but in 2013, it was proposed to be restored and converted into a museum.
The Emir of Kuwait inaugurated the Museum in April 2019.
