Muscat: The Arab Parliament on Monday conferred the ‘Leader Medal’ on His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, in appreciation for his efforts in service of Arab causes.
Assigned by His Majesty, HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty, received the award granted to His Majesty.
The Medal is the highest honour presented to international leaders who support the issues of the Arab nation, and this time, it has been granted to His Majesty in appreciation and recognition of his noble efforts in serving the causes of the Arab nation and his diligent endeavors in supporting joint Arab action.
