Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday, during which he will meet with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President.
A statement by Diwan of Royal Court said, "To consolidate the strong historical relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and to embody the bonds of brotherhood, familiarity and good neighborliness that exist between the two brotherly countries, and out of the keenness of their leadership to strengthen them and take them to wider and more comprehensive horizons, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq the Great will go on a state visit to the UAE during which he will meet Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, from Monday, April 22.
During the visit of His Majesty the Sultan, everything that would improve the existing aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields will be discussed, as ways to develop them in a way that serves their interests and aspirations, and brings more goodness and prosperity to their children, now and in the future.
His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied by a high-level official delegation that includes His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said; Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs: His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammad Al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, and Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Hamad bin Saeed al Aufi, Head of the Special Office; Abdul Salam bin Muhammad al-Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, and Qais bin Muhammad al Yousef, Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP).
