Muscat: The Office of Majlis Ash’shura held its 9th ordinary meeting of the first annual session under the chairmanship of Tahir bin Mabkhout al Junaibi, Deputy Chairman of Majlis Ash’shura, on Wednesday.
The Office reviewed a request for discussion submitted by council members to the minister of education regarding the impact of the extreme weather condition on the schools of North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
The Office referred the annual report for 2023 on the projects of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology to the relevant committee after it was reviewed by the office.
The Office of Majlis Ash’shura was briefed on a number of issues including the response on addressing the problem of traffic congestion in the Wilayat of Al Seeb. The response stated that the implementation of traffic consultation services for Muscat Governorate, aimed at providing sustainable solutions to traffic congestion, is currently under study. — ONA
