Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik offered Eid al Fitr prayers at the Sayyida Fatima Bint Ali Mosque in the Wilayat of Al Seeb, Muscat Governorate, on Wednesday.
His Majesty performed the prayers in the company of some members of the Royal family, ministers, advisers, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and the Royal Oman Police, as well as some members of the State Council, Majlis Ash’shura, under-secretaries, officials, shaikhs, dignitaries of the Wilayat of Al Seeb and citizens.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended greetings to citizens, residents in Oman and the Islamic nation on the occasion of Eid al Fitr.
The Diwan of Royal Court issued a statement to this effect reading as follows: “Upon the advent of the blessed Eid al Fitr for the year 1445 AH, and, as devout Muslims who observed fasting during the holy month of Ramadhan expressed joy at devotedly completing the ritual, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended greetings and congratulations to Omani citizens, residents in the land of Oman and the whole Islamic nation on this happy occasion.
HM wished citizens and residents a happy time. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to accept their good deeds, make them witness many happy comebacks of this blessed occasion and similar occasions and grant them well-being and prosperity. May the Almighty Allah bring back this auspicious occasion with abundant bounties and blessings for His Majesty the Sultan, many years ahead, and may all have peace and joy, each and every year.”
