Manah - Oman Across Ages Museum has launched an electronic reservation (e-booking) platform to facilitate access for people wishing to visit the museum’s galleries during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.
Al Qassim Abdullah al Fahdi, in charge of the office of the museum’s Director-General, said that the launch seeks to regulate and accommodate the large number of visitors to the facility, which requires many administrative and security measures.
The museum will explain the e-booking procedures via its social media accounts.
Visitors to the museum can also book directly by visiting the reception area.
The museum extended visit hours for members of the public during the Eid holidays from 9 am to 7 pm, said Al Fahdi, adding that the museum will be open to visitors on the second and third days of the Eid.
The number of visitors to the Oman Across Ages Museum during 2023 reached more than 350,000, of which 95 percent were Omanis.
Oman Across Ages Museum marked its first anniversary on March 13 by registering a total of 451,374 visitors.
In the first year, the Museum signed over 37 agreements and memorandums of cooperation and received thousands of school students and government officials.
