Muscat: Dr Tayser Farahat, Ambassador of Palestine to the Sultanate of Oman, said in a statement that the reception by the Sultanate of Oman of some wounded Palestinians affected by the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip for over 180 days, is an appreciable step.
“This step reflects the consistent firm stances of the Sultanate of Oman under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik in supporting the Palestinian people to reclaim their legitimate rights.”, he confirmed.
The Palestinian ambassador said that since the beginning of this atrocious war, the Omani positions, both leadership and people, have been consistent and parallel, expressing their rejection of the aggression and calling for an end to this war.
In his statement, he pointed out that Omani diplomacy has had active movements on various Arab, regional, and international levels to put an end to this aggression, asserting that Oman's noble role of dispatching humanitarian aid and delivering it to the Gaza Strip is a commendable initiative.
Speaking about the reception of the wounded Palestinians, the ambassador highly praised this step, which will contribute to the treatment of those Palestinians and saving their lives, noting that such reflects great sympathy with the Palestinian people who are subjected to aggression.
