Third round of Arabian Horse Tour concludes in Muscat

The third round of the Arabian Horse Tour Championship continued at Al Bustan Palace Hotel arena in Muscat. This is part of the fourth edition of Katara International Arabian Horse Festival which was held in cooperation with the Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation.


‘AS Hareer,’ owned by Al Jasmiya Stud won the gold medal in the stallion category, while ‘Rahn Al Shahaniya’ won the silver medal for Shaikha Reem bint Mohammed al Thani from Qatar. Bronze went to ‘AJ Kafo’, owned by UAE's Ajman Stud.


In the mare’s category, the gold medal was snatched by ‘AJ Kaya’ owned by Ajman Stud. ‘Amarilla’, owned by Al Jasmiya Stud won the silver medal and the bronze medal went to ‘Alexandra RC’, owned by Oman Royal Cavalry.

In the junior category, ‘Bandar Al Jasmiya’ (owned by Al Jasmiya Stud) ‘De Shekhar’ (owned by Dubai Stud) and ‘Hamed Sarmeh’ (owned by Sultan al Harithy from Oman) won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.


In yearling colts, ‘Afrin Al Shaqab’, owned by Al Shaqab stud from Qatar, clinched the gold. Silver went to Dubai Stud's ‘De Burkan’ and bronze for Al Wajba Stud's ‘Hurricane Al Wajba’.


Dubai Stud's ‘De Nafaes’ won the gold medal in the one-year-old category. The silver medal was won by Al Thamer Stud's ‘Sultana Al Thamer and bronze went to Dubai Stud's ‘De Roua.' The Arabian Horse Tour visited Qatar and Abu Dhabi before its pit stop in Muscat. It will travel to France, the Netherlands, and Italy before concluding in the French capital, Paris.
