Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Office said on Monday that the Sultanate of Oman is likely to experience a relative drop in temperatures from Tuesday, March 12 to Wednesday, March 13, coinciding with the activity of northwesterly winds.
According to the Met Office, the northern governorates, including Musandam, al Dahira, al Buraimi, North al Batinah and al Hajr Mountains are predicted to receive scattered rain (5-30 mm) associated with fresh downdraft with a speed of 15-30 knots on Tuesday.
The sea state may rise along the coastal strip of the Sultanate of Oman (1.25-2.5 m2).
