Shura denounces attack on Yemen

Muscat: The Majlis Ash’shura on Sunday denounced the unjust attacks on the brotherly Yemen.

In a statement, the Majlis Ash’shura said it is following with great concern the events taking place in the region expressing its pride and commendation for the stance of the government of the Sultanate of Oman in this regard.

The statement condemned the unjust attack on the brotherly Republic of Yemen by some Western powers under the pretext of attacking on commercial ships and the protection of the shipping lines. These countries, the statement said, provide full support to the Zionist entity to kill and exterminate thousands of the brotherly Palestinian people with a dead conscience and inhumane feelings so that the double standards of these regimes become very clear to the entire world.

The humanitarian slogans raised by these regimes have nothing to do with reality and are meant to protect its material interests without taking into account any moral values and principles.
