MUSCAT: Bin Salim CT lifted the Seeb Champions Cup by defeating UMF by 52 runs at the grand final held at the FCC ground, Seeb.
Winning the toss, Bin Salim captain Loganathan elected to field. Bin Salim posted a score of 135/1 in 8 overs.
UMF could only manage 83/7 in 8 overs.
Bin Salim's total was powered by Bharathwaj's blistering knock of 100 runs in 32 balls which includes four boundaries and nine sixers.
Pradeep hit 32 runs from 15 balls which included three fours and two sixers while Anas Thahir scored 24 runs.
Gopinath took 2 wickets from 1 over giving away only 4 runs for Bin Salim. Subash Kumar took 2 wickets in 2 overs.
The man of the match award was presented to Bharathwaj for his 100 runs.
Best batsman and man of the series was awarded to Bharathwaj for scoring an overall score of 157 runs.
Best all-rounder was Rakesh from UMF for scoring 81 runs and taking 3 wickets.
Best bowler was Subash Kumar from Bin Salim for taking 7 wickets.
Best fielder was Pradeep from Bin Salim for taking 5 catches and 2 run-outs.
