MUSCAT: Majees CC beat Zawawi Powertech in the Premier Division League 2023-24 powered by Muscat Pharmacy LLC at the Oman Cricket Academy Turf 1.
Zawawi Powertech posted a paltry 132, bundled down courtesy of Zeeshan Maqsood’s 3 wickets and 2 wickets each for Ubaidullah and Jan Shafiq.
Kalaiarasan was the top scorer for Powertech scoring 44. In reply, Majees CC chased down the target in 29.5 overs with Dhanushka powering a half-century and skipper Aamir Kaleem contributing with 36 runs to claim victory by 3 wickets.
In the B Division League 2023-24 powered by Al Ansari Group of Companies, ABL Task beat PDO.
PDO managed to reach 177 with Abdul Naveed scoring 32. Pranav Dave of ABL Task scalped 4 wickets while Charles Jacob and Nobish Gopi picked 2 wickets each.
In reply, ABL Task chased the target with just 1 wicket remaining, Vijayanand scored 60 while Nidhin Mohan scored quickfire 28 to ensure the victory for ABL Task.
