Suhar: The Al Batinah North Governorate stands at the forefront of Oman's growing national priorities, symbolising a commitment to realising the transformative vision encapsulated in Oman Vision 2040.


As the 'Every Oman' initiative embraces upon this governorate, it shows an essential shift in the developmental narrative, emphasising on cooperative engagement and collaborative participation in drawing the nation's future in various aspects.


In a three-day gathering, the initiative unfolds a tapestry of presentations, workshops, and strategic dialogues crafted to make the fabric of Oman 2040's objectives into the very essence of the Al Batinah North Governorate.


At its core, this gathering serves as a sign for the novel national priorities visualised by the vision that achieved through community integration.


Aligned with Oman's main goal of fostering sustainable development and balanced progress across provinces, these discussions and workshops serve as guide for enhancing local empowerment, building a culture of continuous improvement, and claiming decentralised governance.


Sayyid Dr Munthir bin Hilal bin Badr al Busaidy, Deputy Chairman of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, said 'Every Oman' initiative embodies the ethos of social engagement including within the policies. He stated that this initiative seeks to not only to empower communities but also make the fabric of the provinces, fostering a symbiotic relationship between vision offices and local stakeholders, thus fostering flexibility and adaptability.


Mohammed bin Sulaiman al Kindi, Governor of Al Batinah North, demonstrated the governorate's approaches towards embodying Oman's developmental aspirations. He showcased a holistic approach encompassing strategic collaborations, economic buoyancy, and environmental arrangements and procedures, aligning with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's visionary directives.


The governorate’s investments which exceed RO 14 million over the next three years include urban revitalisation, coastal embellishments, recreational spaces, and infrastructural enhancements, presenting of a gathered effort to raise sustainability and tourism growth.


Of equal significance are the recently forged agreements, amounting to over RO 11 million, signifying a leap towards novel national priorities. These agreements include establishing an Aqua Park Resort in the Wilayat of Al Suwaiq with an investment of RO 4.56 million, developing a commercial entertainment project in Sohar's Silver Jubilee Park that worth RO 3 million and initiating RO 3.5 million commercial entertainment venture in the Sohar Entertainment Centre.
