Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced new measures for attestation of visa medical done overseas in Gulf Health Council (GCC) centers.
Starting January 7, the expatriates will be not required to visit MOH medical fitness examination centers but instead, they can approve their certificates on the electronic health portal of the Ministry of Health or through Sanad offices.
Patients who have medical fitness certificates issued before January 7 can continue to do so until January 21 as ROP will not approve the manually approved examinations after this date.
The process
Visit the website (www.moh.gov.om)
Log in to the service or register a new account in the system using the PKI feature of the mobile phone or ID card.
Enter the required data After verifying the data, you can proceed to the payment process.
From the main menu, choose self-registration for medical fitness examination << pre-Arrival Medical Report Attestation Service for Expatriates.
From the vertical menu, choose the Pre-Arrival Medical Report Attestation Service for Expatriates.
Visit the ROP website to complete the visa procedures.
Users can access the system by ID card As for the companies, access the system, for the first time, by using the ID card of the company owner, registering in the Commercial Registry, and then adding the representatives.
Sanad offices
Entrepreneurs wanting to recruit expatriate workers can visit the Sanad office with the required documents, ID card, and passport and pay RO2.
