Muscat: The state of the sea on parts of the coasts of the Arabian Sea and the coasts of Musandam will be moderate to rough, rising to an average height of 1.5 to two meters, according to Oman Meteorology.

Seagoers have been urged to avoid venturing into the sea and practicing marine activities in the rough waters.

The sea waves will gradually rise to include most of the coasts of the Sultanate of Oman to a moderate/rough of two to 2.5 meters.

The effects of the depression in the Sultanate’s weather will begin on Saturday evening and will continue next Tuesday.

On Saturday, the Sultanate’s atmosphere is expected to witness the flow and formation of clouds, with chances of scattered rain and active winds blowing on the Musandam Governorate and the coasts of the Sea of Oman, including the mountainous areas of the South and North al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat and South al Batinah governorates, in addition to rising sea waves on the coasts of the two governorates - Musandam and Dhofar.
