MUSCAT: Under the patronage of Dr Muhammad bin Saeed Al Maamari, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Oman Association of Holy Quran Care organised its annual ceremony on Saturday in the hall of the Gulf College in Wilayat of Al Seeb. The ceremony included a visual presentation of an expanded introduction to the association and its Quran centres, and a presentation of its most prominent achievements, including second edition of the competition for the most beautiful recitation.
It also included the second edition of the competition for standards of excellence among the association’s centres, and the official announcement of two new centres for the association, namely the Salalah and Musannah Quran centres.
The winning centres were Saham Quranic Centre (first place), Seeb Quranic Centre (second place), Ibri Quranic Centre (third place), Adam Quranic Centre (fourth place), and Nizwa Quranic Centre (fifth place).
The event was graced by the presence of excellencies, undersecretaries of government ministries, members of the Shura Council, governors, and ambassadors of Arab countries to the Sultanate of Oman. - ONA
