BUKHA: The Governorate of Musandam signed an agreement with Microsoft to support the governorate’s digital transformation efforts, on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed by Khalfan bin Harib al Jabri, Director-General of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Office of Musandam Governor and Shaikh Saif Hilal al Hosni, Country Manager for Microsoft in the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Al Jabri said: “The governorate has adopted several digital solutions to improve internal and external user experience, adding that this partnership complements previous projects and would contribute to boosting productivity and automating day-to-day work. We hope, through our partnership with Microsoft, to benefit from artificial intelligence and the solutions provided by the company to analyze data and use it in making strategic decisions.”
Shaikh Saif Hilal al Hosni, Country Manager for Microsoft in the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain, said this cooperation reflects Microsoft’s firm commitment to promoting the principle of digital inclusion in the governorate, enhancing digital transformation and providing the governorate with all the tools and resources to open up unlimited horizons of efficiency and productivity and spreading the spirit of teamwork among its employees in a way that accelerates the process of innovation.
