In adherence to the Royal directives of His Majesty the Sultan, the Royal Academy of Management (RAM) and the Foreign Ministry, represented by the Diplomatic Academy, jointly executed an extensive knowledge programme.

The programme witnessed the participation of council members, fostering an environment of insightful learning and exchange. The programme was conducted from December 10 to 12 at the Al Bustan Hall in the Council of Oman.

The programme encompassed an array of critical subjects, encompassing the powers vested in the Council of Oman, legislative and legal aspects in the Council’s work, as well as trends in foreign policy, international relations, ceremonial work, the foundations of the Omani media, preventive security, and local administration.

Dr Ali bin Qassim al Lawati, President of the Royal Academy of Management, referred to the contents of the speech of His Majesty during the opening of the Council of Oman's first annual session of the eighth term. He commended the Council's maturity in experience, highlighting its seamless integration with diverse state apparatuses and its pivotal role in the state system through collaborative partnerships.

“The rapid and successive developments we are witnessing, whether social, economic and technical and their impact at the national level have imposed a new reality that necessitates a redefinition of the roles played by state institutions and enhances the importance of joint integrated work between them. This is the focus of the comprehensive process that the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing today to renew the country’s renaissance as required by the current and future need to push the actual implementation to achieve the goals set for the Oman Vision 2040," he said.
