MUSCAT: Building on last week’s high-profile launch of the ‘Made in Oman’ campaign, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) held a roadshow – part of a countrywide rollout of the new logo - at The Walk in Al Mouj Muscat. The latest event was in line with the Chamber’s commitment to empowering national industries to take their rightful place in the Omani market, a representative said.
The collaboration between OCCI and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) in the 'Made in Oman' campaign aligns seamlessly with OCCI's strategic objectives, mirroring the overarching goals of the 'Oman 2040' vision. This joint effort between the public and private sectors aims to bolster productivity, ensure sustainability for private entities, especially in the industrial sector, and foster economic growth, as emphasized by the OCCI representative.
Within this framework, the 'Made in Oman' campaign aims to heighten consumer awareness about national products, accentuating the promotional aspect as a complement to their inherent quality and competitiveness. OCCI, through diverse initiatives, seeks to support national products by organizing exhibitions in commercial centers and branches across provinces. Additionally, the campaign targets the global stage, striving to enhance the competitiveness of national products in international markets.
OCCI, through its multifaceted initiatives, offers robust support for national products, including the provision of free permanent and temporary display spaces, financial support, guidance, marketing consultations, and various other services through the Trade and Retail Committee.
In a collaborative endeavor, OCCI and MoCIIP are driving the 'Made in Oman' initiative, elevating national industries and nurturing economic growth.
