MUSCAT: The first edition of the Arab Camp for Talented and Innovative Youth culminated in a showcase of groundbreaking projects by young innovators. Held from December 3 to 5 under the theme "Innovation Towards a Better and More Sustainable Future," the camp was organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth, and the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Arab Organization for Education, Culture, and Science (ALECSO).

The concluding session saw participants recommending the creation of a digital platform on the Unesco website to globally spotlight their projects. The platform aims to connect these talented individuals with entrepreneurs, institutions, and decision-makers, fostering the establishment, development, and support of innovative initiatives.

Basal bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Under-Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth for Sports and Youth, sponsored the closing ceremony. The event aimed to promote innovation and sustainability, gathering 47 young innovators aged 18 to 24 from 21 Arab countries.

On the third day of the camp, participants took part in a cultural and entertainment visit to the city of Nizwa to explore its historical castle, popular market, and local traditional crafts such as dagger-making, pottery, silver, and brass practiced by the people of Nizwa. Participants also learned about Oman's rich history and vibrant present through the galleries of the Oman Across Ages Museum.
