MUSCAT: Majees CC bamboozled Renaissance and Oman Stallions ease past Yalla Shabab at the weekend in the Premier Division League 2023-24 powered by Muscat Pharmacy LLC played at the Oman Cricket Academy Turf 1.
On Friday, Majees CC’s Aamir Kaleem spun the web picking five wickets to bundle Renaissance to a mere total of 67. Arafat Islam contributed with the new ball scalping three wickets to his name while Ubaidullah claimed two wickets. In reply, Aamir Kaleem took the attack onto the opposition along with Lakpriya Ravindra to ensure Majees CC ease to a comfortable 7 wicket win.
On Saturday, Pratik Athawale’s magnificent century helped Oman Stallions put a total of 230 along with contribution from Sankata Prasad scoring a handy 38.
Karan Sonavale scalped a spell 6-fer to restrict Oman Stallions along with two wickets each for Bilal Khan and Abdul Khan. In response, Mohammed Naseem dominated with a bashing 85, however, Yalla Shabab were bundled to 149 courtesy three wickets each for Shakeel Ahmad and Rafiullah.

Oman Stallions 230 all out in 50 overs (Pratik Athawale 110 (132b); Karan Sonavale 6-36) beat Yalla Shabab 149 all out in 37.4 overs (Mohammed Naseem 85 (86b); Shakeel Ahmad 3-23) by 81 runs.
