MUSCAT: The 12th edition of the Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition (MIJEX) opens on December 5, 2023 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).
In the 2023 edition, OCEC - a project by Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN) - in collaboration with VEGA Inter Trade Exhibitions, is hosting a diverse range of exhibitors from local, regional, and international domains. These exhibitors will present a captivating showcase featuring stunning jewelry, authentic gemstones and pearls, gold ornaments, an impressive array of diamonds, fashion items, and various other luxury products for the visitors.
This five-day event promises to be a spectacular showcase of opulence. Eng Said al Shanfari, CEO of OCEC, expressed excitement about the exhibition, emphasizing the opportunity for the public to explore and acquire exquisite jewelry and luxury goods from leading brands in the region.
A total of 45 exhibitors from over 10 countries, including renowned brands like Bhasker Devji Jewellery, Kriedy Jewellery Blue Diamond, and Demanto Jewellery, will grace the event. Each exhibitor will unveil their latest collections, showcasing iconic designs and timeless classics for the season.
Commenting on the significance of MIJEX, Eng Said al Shanfari stated, "This prestigious exhibition provides an exclusive platform for jewelry enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the finest creations while engaging with designers, innovators, influencers, and brand representatives shaping the industry's trends."
Akavut Tangsilikusonwong (Tony), Managing Director of VEGA Intertrade and Exhibitions LLC, highlighted the business prospects for exhibitors, emphasizing the opportunity to connect with high-net-worth consumers, reinforce brand positioning, expand networks, and tap into the growing demand for fashionable jewelry and luxury accessories.
This year's MIJEX coincides with other notable events at OCEC, such as Oman Agro Food 2023 and The National Olympiad for Student Scientific Innovations, offering a diverse experience for attendees. The exhibition will run from December 5 to 9, with daily timings from 12 pm to 10 pm.
