Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted an official dinner at Al Alam Palace guesthouse this evening in honour of President Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier of the Federal Republic of Germany and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The dinner was attended by some members of the Royal Family, ministers and officials.Later, His Majesty the Sultan bid farewell to the German President, wishing him a pleasant stay during his visit to Oman and a safe return home.
