Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister left for Riyadh on Friday as head of Oman's delegation at the extraordinary summit of the Arab League Council and extraordinary summit of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The Saudi capital will host the leaders of the 22 Arab countries on Saturday to consult, coordinate, and discuss ways to confront the continuing escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Saudi Arabia, in its capacity as chairman of OIC will hold on Sunday an extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries in Riyadh to discuss the developments in Gaza.
