Gaza: The death toll from the violent and ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 24th consecutive day has risen to more than 8,300 martyrs, most of whom are children, in addition to more than 21,000 injured.

In a press statement on Monday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the continuous Israeli artillery shelling and raids have so far left more than 8,300 martyrs, including 3,457 children and 2,136 women, in addition to more than 21,000 injured.

It stated that the occupation forces carried out 908 massacres in the Gaza Strip, killing thousands, while a large number of martyrs are still under the rubble until this moment, warning that the occupation is deliberately paralyzing the movement of ambulances so that they are unable to rescue the wounded.

It warned again of the repercussions of the collapse of the health system in the sector deliberately targeted by the occupation forces, noting that 25 hospitals were out of service. It has been calling on the international community to activate international and humanitarian law to protect medical facilities, and the necessity of opening the Rafah crossing to allow the entry of medical aid and the exit of the wounded.

The Israeli occupation continues its intensive and unprecedented ground, air, and naval bombardment on the besieged Gaza Strip, amid significant restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid, despite warnings from United Nations (UN) agencies and relief organizations about the catastrophic impact of these measures on the lives of civilians.
