Muscat- Dr Sultan bin Mohammad al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, concludes his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday, during which he met with His Majesty the Sultan.
On Tuesday, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad al Qasimi, Member of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah at Al Baraka Palace.
During the audience, His Majesty the Sultan and the Ruler of Sharjah exchanged cordial conversations and reviewed the march of the bilateral relations between the two countries, based on shared historical bonds. They also discussed other matters of common concern.
Earlier, His Highness arrived in the Sultanate of Oman, on an official visit.
His Highness and the accompanying delegation were received upon their arrival by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Information, Mohammed bin Nakhira al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Oman, and a number of members of the Emirati embassy in Muscat.
His Highness was accompanied by a delegation comprising Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Ambassador Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of UAE to the Sultanate of Oman, and Abdullah Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Information, and member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah.
