Muscat: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the national airlines Oman Air and SalamAir to enhance cooperation and integration between the two companies and develop and implement a joint commercial strategy.
The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology hosted the agreement ceremony, which was attended by Engineer Saeed bin Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Air), and Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Al-Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salam air. The agreement was signed by Captain Nasser al-Salmi, acting CEO of Oman Air, and Captain Muhammad Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir.
The MoU provides for cooperation between the two airlines' networks to enhance operational efficiency and improve passenger service, as well as understanding between the two sides in the areas of destination planning, flight schedules, inventory management, air fleet management, revenue, and sales management.
