MUSCAT: The Ministry of Social Development on Wednesday issued a decision setting the calendar of the qualification and evaluation programme and vacations for the qualifying year 2023-2024 at the public and private disability rehabilitation centres.
According to the decision, the qualifying year 2023-2024 at the government disability rehabilitation centres will begin on Sunday, August 20, 2023 and end on Thursday, July 4, 2024. The first semester will begin on Sunday, August 20 and end on Thursday, January 25, 2024 for the qualifying staff, administrators and workers at the government disability rehabilitation centres and the second semester will begin on Sunday, February 11, 2024 and end on July 4, 2024.
The qualifying year for disability rehabilitation centres and centres affiliated to private associations will begin on Sunday, September 3, 2023 and end on Thursday, May 30, 2024. The first semester will end on Thursday, January 25, 2024 and the second semester will begin on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
The first phase of admittance and transfer of people with needs should be conducted between Sunday, September 3, 2023 and Thursday, September 28, 2023. The second phase will be conducted between Sunday, January 7, 2024 and Thursday, February 1, 2024. —ONA
